What are
others saying about Rico's at Gulfgate?
They love it! Read below and be sure to send
us a note after you've visited too.
I am tired of
my old pizza shops that do not have
consistent pies from week to week. They are
either over loaded with cheese and dripping
with oil, or if you order light cheese it
comes out dry and burnt.
I have not
had a bad pizza from Rico's. The perfect
crust, just the right amount of cheese, and
the spices I grew up with (NJ born and
raised.) Tasty for starters. Larger slices
to enjoy.
I live in
Venice, so by the time I get home, I put the
entire pizza box in my oven at 177 degrees
for about 7 - 10 minutes which keeps it hot
and ready to eat. Delicious! I go out of my
way to Rico's. It's so worth it.

What can I
say? Rico's is real "homemade Jersey" pizza
(you can actually fold it and the slices are
quite sizeable) and you get your choice of
toppings, etc. Spices, and crust consistency
are top-notch.
Salads are great, as are the entrees if you
are really hungry and desserts. Sandwiches
are also incredible after a day at the
beach. I visit my mother on Siesta Key about
5 times a year and go to Rico's at least
once per visit.
Service is friendly but not over solicitous.
The delivery people are busy all the time. I
love this place.

Rico's
Pizzeria at Gulfgate is the best of all the Rico's
locations. My
wife and I drive from Zephyrhills once every
couple of months or so just to eat there.
It's about an hour and a half from our
house, but well worth the drive.
Rico's is not
a large place, so either arrive early or be
prepared to wait a few minutes for a table.
The food is WORTH THE WAIT!
